Jessica Stone Baker

Jessica graduated from the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico (580 hours) under the direct guidance of Dr. Vasant Lad while also completing a Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours) with Chitra Giauque & Halle Pryor in Ayurvedic Yoga. She has also completed an advanced 10 month herbalism training with Dandelion Herbal under the guidance of Rosemary Gladstar and Jane Bothwell in Aracata, California (130 hours).

Jessica went on to study at Boulder College of Massage Therapy, graduating from the 1000 hour program in June 2010 also earning an additional Zen Shiatsu Certification (120 hours), Prenatal, Labor, Postpartum Certification (120 hours) and Spa Certification (120 hours) from BCMT. While a student at BCMT, Jessica interned at South Boulder Chiropractic and Boulder Community Hospital, The BirthPlace, Boulder Veteran's Association, CU Performing Arts, and Bolder Boulder. Jessica has also earned her Associates Degree in Massage/Occupational Studies in June 2011 with additional focus on Medical Massage (Elaine Calenda), CranioSacral Therapy, and Trauma in the Body (Peter Levine's work/approach). Jessica is a compassionate practitioner who believes in trusting and listening to the wisdom of your own body. Her bodywork integrates the concepts of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Zen Shiatsu as well as Western concepts of anatomy and body systems to meet the client exactly where they are in the moment. As an Ayurvedic practitioner, she has tremendous respect for the vastness of the Ayurvedic system of medicine. Jessica is on a path of continuous learning as a bodyworker and a healer and she is a proponent of wellness in one's own life through self-empowerment and education. She enjoys the unique learning and awareness that takes place with each client. Jessica is also a breast cancer survivor and she is pleased to share her personal experiences to assist others in self-education, or for those who are going through similar circumstances. She integrates her personal journey into practice by emphasizing a greater compassion for the life condition of all human beings in the mind, body and spirit.

Jewl Petteway
RMT, NCTMB (Nationally Licensed Massage Therapist), Reiki Master Teacher

Discover the relaxing, therapeutic results of a session with Jewl Petteway, Licensed Massage Therapist & Reiki Master Teacher. On the table, Jewl prefers an integrated healing style using various techniques tailored to her client's needs.  A session may be a full body holistic massage incorporating Swedish, Reflexology, Reiki, Myofascial Release, Lomi Lomi, deep tissue/therapeutic massage in a focus area, hot stones, or a specialized session using a specific modality throughout like Thai Massage or Craniosacral therapy. Jewl was certified at the Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle, Washington.  She is also a certified Usui and Karuna Reiki Master teacher.

Jewl has always had a passion for dance, music, and meditation. She uses her knowledge of body awareness, and the benefits of music and meditation, to help educate clients about how to live a less stressful life, and take care of the body and mind every day. She believes that the well-being of every living thing contributes to the state of the planet, therefore continues to broaden her knowledge of healing and the body-mind connection through continuing education, and focusing on self-care through receiving bodywork, and her own personal healing practices. Jewl is also a mother, professional dancer, musician, dj, and also enjoys painting. She incorporates healing energy into all of her artistic endeavors.
Rebecca Little

RMT, NCTMB  (Nationally Certified Massage Therapist) 

Rebecca is a graduate of Boulder College of Massage Therapy, 1000 hour Massage Therapist certification program.  Her specialties include Swedish, Deep Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Integrative, Aromatherapy and Prenatal/Postpartum massage.  A mother of two and former restaurant owner, Rebecca is an advocate of healthy living through good nutrition, staying physically and mentally active, exposing oneself to adventure and nature as much as possible, giving with compassion, and giving your body the numerous benefits of regular massage. Rebecca is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals and Boulder College of Massage Therapy Alumni Association.  

 

Juliette Cook, RMT

Juliette has been a massage therapist since 2006. She started her career studying in the mountains of Asheville NC. Her thirst for knowledge of the human body led her to obtain certifications in Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, pre-natal massage, Esalen, craniosacral I in the Upledger tradition, Reiki and other forms of self-study. Currently, Juliette is working on gaining certification in Thai Yoga massage, Level I and II, through Lotus Palm. She loves giving quality custom massages for each individual and assisting them on their healing path. She believes informed touch and the practice of being present integrates healing for the body, mind and spirit. In addition to massage Juliette has been a vinyasa yoga teacher for over a decade. Her greatest teachers are her 3 year old twins and her dog Clive. Juliette is so grateful to be on the team at The Mindful Body with other amazing bodyworkers.   

 

Kimberly Loeb, RYT-500
Kimberly Loeb is a certified Pilates, Sivananda Yoga and Yoga Thrive (therapeutic Yoga for cancer) instructor, Yanumoja Yoga therapist and Wise Earth Ayurveda practitioner. She has been practicing and teaching Ayurveda and Yoga in the United States and Canada since 2001 and has trained with local and international teachers such as Kelly Grey, Laura Phelps, Nikki Manzie, Saul David Raye and Susi Hately Aldous. Kimberly is certified to practice Ayurvedic snehana treatments and marma therapy through the the Three Winds Academy, and Thai bodywork through the Ritam School of Healing Arts. She holds a degree in the philosophy and practice of Ayurveda and Yoga from Prescott College, and has taught on the Pacific Elements Yoga teacher training faculty. Kimberly offers Ayurveda and Yoga workshops and retreats, group Yoga instruction, private Yogatherapy sessions, individualized Ayurvedic consultations, therapeutic Ayurvedic snehana treatments and Thai marmatherapy, and is currently deepening her studies in Anusara Yoga and massage therapy. 

Inspired by her studies in Ayurveda, Kimberly’s work is rooted in the practice of sadhana (the cultivation of self-realization through wholesome activities that encourage and inspire us to remain ever-present to the beauty and magic of life). Kimberly draws on her experience with and knowledge of this powerful healing science to weave it’s universal teachings on land and spirit into her classes and private sessions. Sadhana is a philosophy of living that teaches how to bring body, mind and soul into balance with the natural world, and it is through this practice that Kimberly believes it is possible to integrate the ancient philosophies of Ayurveda and Yoga into everyday life.

Kim Coventry

Kim Coventry is a graduate of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy with over 1000 hours of study in a variety of massage modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Integrative,Normalization of Soft Tissue, Prenatal, and Postpartum Massage. Kim is a Nationally Certified Therapist of Massage and Bodywork and holds an additional certification in Prenatal, Labor and Postpartum massage. 

Kim is passionate about her work and her personal and professional experiences have taught her about the wonderful healing benefits of touch. She has always been interested in the body's ability to heal itself and is excited to work in a field that aids the process of healing as well as supporting the wellbeing of the mind, body and spirit.

 

Christopher Baker
BA, MA, Reiki Master, Certified Nursing Assistant

Chris earned his Reiki Master Certificate studying with Paul Amirault in Massachusetts. Chris is also a Certified Nursing Assistant and for the past ten years, he has worked in private home health care field. He specializes in care for the developmentally disabled, physically disabled, and terminally ill. Chris is currently studying to become a Registered Nurse.

It is our pleasure to be able to provide Chris' unique and compassionate healing energy work at a very discounted price to assist with chronic pain conditions, terminal illness, oncology care and substance dependency withdrawal, or simply to gain more energetic balance and potency. Chris has also studied a large spectrum of other healing modalities, including medical aromatherapy, flower essence work, and soul circuitry alignment.
